About the Author
Sheryl Roberts holds a BA in English Literature and Communications from the University of Colorado and is a licensed mental health professional who has dedicated her career to supporting overseas workers and their families through her private practice. Drawing from years of personal experience as a mother and missionary coupled with professional insight, she has crafted her debut memoir from a rich tapestry of e-newsletters, blog posts, journals, and personal correspondence.

When she's not writing or counseling clients, Sheryl retreats with her husband, John, in their mini camper, to the isolated beauty of the mountain wilderness to seek inspiration and renewal. A mother to ten children and devoted grandmother, she finds her greatest joy in long conversations with her family and precious moments with her grandbabies.
